Performs a variety of tasks relating to the fabrication of finished trailers, including cutting, welding, and assembling. Performs all work in accordance with OSHA and Company safety requirements.

Operates cutting and welding equipment

Jigs up and preps surfaces of components to be welded

MIG welds steel components

Grinds, cleans, and finishes completed welds

Ensures finished product is built to spec and meets quality standards

Takes proper care of all equipment

Ensures equipment is operated in orderly and safe manner

Picks up and cleans works area to avoid safety hazards to self and others

Follows safety procedures and wears necessary PPE

Performs additional functions as required
Previous experience with MIG welding required

Previous experience with cutting/prep equipment required

Knowledge of raw materials and production processes preferred

Ability to identify steel components

Ability to use and read a tape measure

Ability to follow instructions both verbally and in written form

High school education or equivalent experience.

Frequent bending and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Works inside and outside in all weather conditions on a regular basis

Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills

Monday through Friday work week, with occasional overtime required

A degree of mechanical know-how and experience operating power tools and production line equipment is preferred. We are seeking a reliable driver that is able to follow delivery procedures and has great customer service skills. Scheduled days and times vary by week, but average 3 days per week and occur between the hours of 7am and 4pm. Competitive Mileage Rate

Flexible Schedule
Transports single units or stacks of utility trailers both locally and regionally

Follows routes and time schedule

Loads, unloads, prepares, inspects and operates Company haul and tow vehicle

Completes required logs and reports

Follows safety regulations and standards
Six months driving experience in the past 5 years pulling trailer(s)

Valid Driver’s License

Must be at least twenty-five years of age

No DUI in the previous 5 years

No more than one moving violation in the past 12 months

No more than two moving violations in the past 36 months

All qualifications subject to management review

Prior vehicle transport experience preferred

Commercial driving experience preferred

Possess strong time management skills (be on time)

Arrive for work when scheduled

Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form
